Andrew Kassman, DMD
Working in the field of orthodontics allows me to help people gain confidence and change their lives by improving their smile. Knowing that I have played a role in shaping the smiles of my patients is my favorite part of my job. I enjoy working with kids and being able to relate to them on their level. It keeps me young! Basically, I get to have a great time while earning a living, and there is really nothing more I could ask for.
My team is made up of some truly wonderful people. We treat each patient as we would want our own family to be treated. By interacting with our patients with warmth and compassion, my staff and I create a very friendly atmosphere and the very best orthodontic experience for each and every patient.
Education
I attended Tulane University, graduating with my Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering, and continued on to receive my Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Tufts School of Dental Medicine. I completed my general practice residency at the VA Hospital in Northport, NY, and earned my Certificate in Orthodontics from Columbia University.
I choose to participate in continuing education to further my professional skills and learn about new techniques and products. It is my goal to be able to offer my patients the best and most current treatment. I attend every annual meeting of the AAO, Summit meetings from the Invisalign® group, Western Regional State of Arizona Dental Conferences, and Pacific Coast Society Regional Meetings. I also offer in-office seminars to local dentists and hygienists about the importance of orthodontic treatment.
Outside the Office
I am originally from the Bronx in New York and have lived in Tucson for the past 30 years. My wife, Laurie, and I have three children, Dylan, Stacey, and Alexandria. I enjoy watching sports, especially all of the New York teams. I love playing basketball with my son Dylan, and spending time with my family and friends. I’m also active in my community, sponsoring youth sports, boys choir, and ballet, as well as coaching little league and soccer and umpiring baseball.
